A postbox in Sunningdale will be painted gold to mark Paralympic equestrian rider Sophie Christiansen's two gold medals.

The former Charters School pupil won two golds at the Paralympics in the individual test championship and team championship events at the weekend on her horse Janeiro.

The postbox outside the post office in London Road will be painted from 10am tomorrow.

The 24-year-old's home town is Sunningdale, but she now lives in Boyn Hill Road, Maidenhead.

Sophie will also have first-class stamps displaying her photo made by Royal Mail to celebrate her achievements.

The stamps will go on sale tomorrow.
