Olympic Torch arrives in Berkshire today

Children and their parents have already started to line the streets of Berkshire today as they eagerly wait for the arrival of the Olympic Torch.

The torch is expected to arrive in the Furze Platt area of Maidenhead at 10.48am, before heading towards Maidenhead Bridge, Dorney via the Bath Road, and in to Slough - through Chalvey.

It is expected to reach Ascot High Street at 4.26pm.

The Advertiser and Express team, including photographers, videographers and reporters, will be following the flame throughout the day in Maidenhead, Slough, Windsor and Ascot.
