Trial awaits a 20-year-old man from Maidenhead facing allegations of trespass and theft.
Keith Perry is accused of entering a house on May 3 as a trespasser and stealing a rucksack containing a laptop.
He is also alleged to have entered a second property as a trespasser on the same day and stolen a handbag and another laptop.
Perry, of Connaught Close, has been released on bail and will appear at Reading Crown Court on October 1 for trial.
