Rising stars in sport and the arts had their talents recognised at the Royal Borough's bursary awards last night.
The 10th annual celebration of leisure and cultural achievement took place at Maidenhead Town Hall and saw 80 young people handed bursaries for their efforts.
Seven coach bursaries, three School Sport Partnership awards and two sports lifetime achievement awards were also given out.
A joint funding partnership between the borough and the Louis Baylis (Maidenhead Advertiser) Charitable Trust, meant a total of £12,000 was available.
