Teenager arrested after drugs raid in Woodlands Park

A teenager has been arrested after a drugs raid in Heywood Court Close.

A 17-year-old boy was collared by police yesterday after officers executed a warrant in the Woodlands Park cul-de-sac at about 12.40pm.

They seized a large amount of what is believed to be class A and B drugs.

The 17-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs and released on bail until May 25.

Police are also investigating an aggravated burglary in the road after masked intruders carried out an armed raid on Monday night.

They have appealed for witnesses. Phone police on 101.
