Four hurt in Maidenhead crash

A BMW convertible car and a Honda Jazz were involved in a crash at the junction of Raymond Road and St Mark's Road in Maidenhead at 7pm yesterday.

Firefighters and an ambulance team attended the scene.

A lamppost was badly damaged in the accident leaving dangerous wires exposed which had to be disconnected.

There were six people in the cars.

Although none were trapped, two had to be taken to Wexham Park Hospital in Slough on spinal boards, while two were treated on the scene.

Police are yet to confirm if there were any injuries. Updates to follow.
