Shops and businesses in Maidenhead town centre are in darkness following a powercut earlier this afternoon.
Power provider Scottish and Southern Electric (SSE) said about 240 customers in roads including the High Street, Market Street, Broadway, Queen Street, Providence Place and St Mary's Walk are being affected.
The power failure is thought to have started at about 4pm and have been caused by a high voltage fault in the overhead power network.
Engineers are on the scene but cannot yet give an estimated time for when the power will be restored.
A spokeswoman for SSE apologised to customers for the inconvenience caused.
