A BMW has been 'completely destroyed' in a car fire on the A404 near Maidenhead.
Firefighters were called to the northbound carriageway of the A404, near Junction 8/9 of the M4, following reports that a car had caught alight.
They arrived on the scene at 3pm and spent 20 minutes bringing the flames under control.
The road had to be closed while emergency services responded.
A spokesman for Maidenhead Fire Station confirmed nobody was injured in the blaze.
