Boy charged in connection with house party fight

A teenager has been charged with four counts of GBH with intent in connection with a fight at a schoolgirl's house party in Maidenhead.

The 16-year-old, from Cirencester, Gloucestershire, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has also been charged with intimidating witnesses.

The incident - where two boys and two girls suffered cuts and slashes - took place at Somersby Crescent, Cox Green, on November 13, last year.

The boy appeared at Reading Magistrates' Court on Saturday and was released on conditional bail to appear at Maidenhead Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

Six other boys, all aged 16 and arrested in connection with the incident, have been re-bailed until March 7.
