Rail passengers urged to ‘hold off’ travelling between London Paddington and Reading

Commuters hoping to catch a train between London Paddington and Reading have been advised to ‘hold off on travel’ by Great Western Railway today due to overrunning engineering works.

Rail users face delays of up to an hour and 45 minutes.

GWR tweeted at about 12.50: “We are currently experiencing disruption between London Paddington and Reading due to overrun engineering works.

“Alternative transport cannot be arranged for all services so current advice is to hold off on travel.”
