Firefighters put out two BMW car fires last night.
Crews from Maidenhead and Reading were sent to the first fire at 6.45pm at junction 10 of the M4 between Maidenhead and Reading.
The BMW was on fire on the hard shoulder and firefighters closed one lane and used a hose reel to put out the flames.
The second BMW fire was at Sainsbury’s Car Park in St Cloud Way.
Crews from Maidenhead and Slough attended the incident at 10pm on the ground floor of the car park.
Firefighters used a hose reel to put out the fire and spent 25 minutes at the scene.
No one was injured in either incident and the officers do not suspect arson.
