5.) Firefighters called to two-car crash in Marlow

Firefighters and paramedics were called to deal with a road accident in Marlow yesterday morning.

Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Fire and Rescue Service tweeted shortly before 9am to say two crews were on the scene following a ‘collision involving two vehicles’ in Wycombe Road.

4.) First Let's Rock the Moor! 2017 acts announced

The first acts have been announced for Let's Rock the Moor! 2017.

Sister Sledge, who had hits with 'We are Family' and 'He's the Greatest Dancer' will join synth-pop singer Howard Jones and duo Go West at the festival in Cookham on Saturday, May 20.

3.) Michelin star for The Crown in Burchetts Green

The Crown in Burchetts Green has been awarded a Michelin star for the 2017 guide.

The pub joined the growing list of Berkshire restaurants to gain the prestigious honour when the guide was revealed at an event in London on Monday.

2.) Marlow Bridge lorry driver 'no longer employed' by haulage firm

A lorry driver who put Marlow Bridge out of action after attempting to drive over it is 'no longer employed' by a Lithuanian haulage firm.

Girteka Logistics said it has parted company with the driver, who attempted to drive over the bridge despite the lorry being significantly over the weight limit on Saturday, September 24.

1.) Controlled explosion carried out after 'firearms' are found near school

A large bang was heard across Waltham St Lawrence yesterday afternoon as a controlled explosion was carried out near the village's primary school.

An explosion was seen at about 4pm in the field across from Waltham St Lawrence Primary School in School Road.
