A woman was found dead in the grounds of the Berkshire College of Agriculture in Burchetts Green yesterday morning (Friday).

Members of the public discovered the body of the woman, who has not yet been identified, at about 10am in High Woods, a part of the college campus.

Senior investigating officer Det Insp Jon Groenen from Berkshire CID said: “Officers are currently working to establish the identity of the deceased woman who has been located.

"Her death is currently being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious.”

Although the formal identification process is yet to take place the family of 51-year-old Teresia Heales, who went missing on April 12, has been informed and is being supported by specially trained officers.
