Recently returned to the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, I am concerned at the lack of a suitable Parliamentary candidate to represent the interests of a democratic Conservative following June 8.
While this electorate voted ‘Remain’ by a majority I would not propose reopening this issue other than to suggest a softer, more democratic approach to negotiating against the united pact of 27.
As we know fear of a ‘Hard’ Brexit is already weakening sterling, slowing both consumption and the economy and raising inflation.
The third runway at Heathrow is of major concern yet the electorate is without a candidate to fight our specific causes.
I appreciate Mrs May has the country’s confidence which could lead to a dangerously large majority against the previously recorded interests of the Royal Borough and I query if we here are best represented in such a manner?
Am I alone in considering an ‘alternative Conservative’ driven entirely by and representing specifically the needs of those in the Royal Borough might better represent our interests?
If not please contact me at democratconservative@gmail.com so we may consider our options.
