Fire crew puts out Highways Agency vehicle blaze on A4

Firefighters were called to the A4 Bath Road this afternoon after a Highways Agency vehicle caught fire.

A crew from Maidenhead attended the incident, near the Huntercombe roundabout, at about 4pm.

Officers used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to put out the fire, and police closed off the road.

They were at the scene for about 45 minutes.

No one was injured.
