A colourful stained glass window salvaged from the derelict Skindles site is now on display at Maidenhead Heritage Centre.
The artefact shows a coat of arms of the Earl of Orkney who owned the original Skindles Hotel in Taplow.
A new luxury hotel is proposed as part of a massive redevelopment for the site.
The window was removed from the long closed derelict hotel and finds its new home in Park Street.
"It is the largest single artefact surviving from Skindles Hotel," said Richard Poad, Heritage Centre chairman.
"I am absolutely delighted with this stunning edition to the centre."
