You can tell Christsmas is coming with the assortment of events with a festive theme this weekend.

But if you are not ready to face Christmas shopping just yet, there are plenty of other events to choose from.

Tonight (Friday)

Don't miss your chance to get some great gift ideas for Christmas and treat yourself to a taster session of an alternative therapy at a shopping and indulgence night at Bisham School in Church Lane.
Masseurs, reiki specialists, reflexologists, beauticians and hairdressers will offer taster sessions at £8 for 20 minutes and hairdressing £10 for 30 minutes.
7pm – 10pm. Entrance £3.50 in advance or £5.00 on the night to include a glass of wine and a mince pie.

Jewellery, children's accessories, handbags and homemade chocolate will be on offer at a Christimas shopping evening.  Herries School's shopping experience is at 7.30-10pm at the school in Dean Lane, Cookham Dean. Saturday

If you have nerves of steel why not join a ghost walk in Windsor.
Hear spooky stories of ghosts in the town and castle on our 1 hour tour and then afterwards warm up with a glass of mulled wine or soft drink.
Tour starts at Falstaff’s Restaurant, Church St opposite Henry VIII Gateway to Windsor Castle. Meet at 7pm.   £7 Adults/£6 Advantage card holders, £3 under 14s (to include a glass of mulled wine or a soft drink)

Fancy a night out at a gig? Try the Old Tickethall in Windsor on Saturday when Grouper will be playing live.

Delve into the borough's Museum Store with an open day from 10am-4pm.
The borough is giving the public the opportunity to see at close quarters the treasurers of the Royal Borough’s museum collection in Tinkers Lane, Windsor.

Children aged five to 11 are invited to storytelling at Cox Green Library.
Join Stacia Keogh for Fractured Fairytales – old favourites with an exciting new twist, from 10.30am–11.30am.

A wealth of arts and crafts exhibits created by villagers in Holyport will be on show this weekend.
The Art and Craft Show will feature tables with an array of paintings, scarves and crafts.
Regular exhibitor Anne Emmett will be the featured artist this year, with one of her paintings being awarded as the special prize in the raffle.
The show will also see a demonstration by woven scarve expert Pat Brown, who will show visitors how to make scarves on her spinning wheel at the event.
It takes place in the Holyport Memorial Hall from 2-5pm on Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sunday and the entrance is £1.

An autumn fayre is being put on by members of St John the Baptist in Cookham Dean at 10-2pm. The fayre will be held in Cookham Dean Village Hall, Church Road, Cookham Dean. Attractions include 'posh trash,' books, CD's, hampers, tombola and cakes.
All proceeds go to charities such as Emmaus Communities, Starlight Children's Foundation, Township School, Knysna, South Africa.

Berkshire College of Agriculture is holding an antiques and fine art fair on Saturday and Sunday from 11am-5pm.
A selection of Mexican-style jewellery will be on display including bangles, necklaces, rings and brooches.

St Mark's Church in Bourne End is holding a Christmas Fayre with a variety of stalls, tombola, raffle and home-cooked lunches. Father Christmas will be the special guest.
It runs from 10.30am in the Wakeman Road church.

A charity concert is being held by Reading Male Voice Choir from 7.30pm.
It is at Holy Trinity Church and is in aid of The Parkinson's Disease Society.

Sunday

Calling all green-fingered gurus - volunteers are being sought to help with a community project on Sunday.
The Maidenhead Waterways Restoration Group needs helpers to plan some 2,000 daffodil bulbs down by York Stream in Maidenhead.
Volunteers should meet at 10.30am by the footpath in Stafferton Way at the far end of the Homebase car park. Bring your own planting equipment.

A special service is being held on Sunday for people to remember family and friends who have died in crashes on the roads in Thames Valley.
The multi-faith service is being held at St Mary the Virgin Church, Church Road, Thame at 3pm.
It has been organised by the emergency services combined.

St Joseph's Parish Church in Cookham Road, Maidenhead, is holding a Christmas Bazaar from 11am-2pm.
Father Christmas will be there enjoying a grand draw, tombola, brick-a-brac and refreshments.
Entry is 50p.
