Man was stabbed 82 times, court hears

A man was subjected to a frenzied knife attack as he lay sleeping in a 'totally motiveless crime', a court heard today.
Daniel Quelch, 33, (pictured) was killed at his parents' home in Cherry Garden Lane, Littlewick Green, on August 23 last year.
Benjamin Frankum, from Littlehampton, in West Sussex, appeared at Reading Crown Court today charged with his killing.
The 26-year-old, a paranoid schizophrenic, was found unfit to plead to a murder charge.
Prosecutor Nigel Daly told the court that Mr Quelch, a landscape gardener and Reading resident, was asleep at his parents' bungalow before being stabbed 82 times.
The trial continues.
