Dragon's Den challenge for Windsor entrepreneurs

9:35am Fri 8th Aug 08:: written by Francis Batt

A nurse and a social worker from Windsor have faced the most frightening people in the world - in the Dragon's Den.

On Monday the whole country will see how their invention the Buggyboot, fared, in front of the grim faced entrepreneurs from television's Dragon's Den.

Charlotte Evans and Carolyn Jarvis invented the Buggyboot, a multi-purpose accessory that can be attached to a child's pushchair. The idea is to help parents by making shopping with small children easier.

Social worker Carolyn said: "We were at a trade show where Dragon's Den was looking for participants. They approached us and we did some test runs and were persuaded it could only help us to be associated with the programme."

If you want to find out whether they got their cash boost from the Dragons you will have to wait until Monday.
"We are sworn to secrecy until the programme has aired," said Carolyn.

The programme is due to air at 9pm on BBC2.
