Bray's eateries up for top award

9:12am Tue 5th Aug 08:: written by Justin Burns

Restaurants in Bray are among 40 shortlisted for a coveted award at this year's London Restaurant Awards.

Three eateries in the village will be battling it out to be named one of the 'Top Ten Restaurants outside London' to be judged by a host of the capital's top food critics.

The Hinds Head and Fat Duck in the High Street, both owned by celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal, have been named along with Michel Roux's Waterside Inn, in Ferry Road.

Comedian Jack Dee will be hosting the gala awards ceremony at Grosvenor House in London on September 1.

The three restaurants have put the quaint village of Bray on the map for fine cuisine, and are frequented by hordes of food connoisseurs from around the country.
