A firefighter has praised members of the public after they stopped to help out at a collision at a Maidenhead roundabout where a car had overturned.
Two cars crashed as they rounded the Thicket roundabout on Monday leaving a silver Citreon on its roof.
About four passers-by stopped their cars to help direct traffic and comfort vicitms of the crash, who were 'shaken-up' but had no serious injuries after the 1pm smash.
Firefighter John Stevenson, of Maidenhead Fire Station's white watch, said: "It was nice to see people stopping and helping out. They were keeping the scene safe by directing traffic and preventing another accident. People were quite shaken up and one woman was comforting some children who were in the Citreon."
Last month a lorry overturned on the roundabout, which sits above the A404 motorway, spilling thousands of beer bottles into the road.
