Cash For Schools winner announced

10:56am Thu 17th Jul 08:: written by Gareth McPherson

A school near Burnham has bagged £10,000 after prising thousands of competition tokens from the Maidenhead Advertiser.

Dropmore Infant School, which has just 42 pupils, took part in the Advertiser's Cash for Schools Scheme and bagged the top prize after ravaging the newspaper every week for tokens.

The Littleworth Road school, in Dropmore, won after collecting the most tokens per pupil.
They now have a free rein to spend the cash, donated by the Louis Baylis (Maidenhead Advertiser) Charitable Trust, on educational facilities and equipment.

As well as the jackpot prize another £10,000 will be shared out among the schools who managed to collect at least two tokens for every pupil.
