Police appeal to trace bike collision teen

8:48am Fri 4th Jul 08:: written by Kelly Rawlings

Police are appealing for a schoolboy to come forward after he was involved in a collision with a car which failed to stop in High Wycombe on Tuesday.

At about 9am, a teenage boy was cycling along the A404 Amersham Road, near the junction with Kingshill Road, when the collision occurred.

The car failed to stop and continued travelling along the road towards High Wycombe.

The boy, who was in school uniform, also left the scene shortly after but PC John Belson from Amersham Roads Policing Department is keen for him to get in touch.

PC Belson said: “It may be that the boy has spoken to his family about what happened. He is not in any trouble and I am urging him to come forward so I can investigate what happened and check that he is OK.”
