The day of action across Berkshire East saw more than half of those arrested in relation to car crime.

Operation Laguna mainly targeted Maidenhead and Slough and was led by Acting Det Insp Sharon Heselden, intelligence manager for Berkshire East.

She said: “Operations such as these are designed to help reduce crime across the area and provide greater reassurance to local residents.

“I am pleased with the results of the operation and would like to thank the thirty plus police officers and staff involved, as well as the local community for providing us with intelligence and information which often forms the basis of our activity."
