Motorcyclist injured in Norfolk Road crash

A motorcyclist sustained a serious leg injury in a collision with a car in Maidenhead this morning.

The accident took place on the corner of St Luke's Road and Norfolk Road, outside St Luke's Church, at around 7.35am.

Police cordoned off Norfolk Road for more than two hours after the incident. 

The man was riding a Yamaha motorbike and was taken to St Mark's hospital. He was coming out of St Luke's Road when he collided with a red Mazda MX5 Roadster.

Police are investigating the accident.
