Robbery at Nationwide in Cookham

Security van men were theatened with a sledgehammer during a robbery at a Cookham bank last week.
Two security guards had parked their van outside the Nationwide building society in Station Hill at about 11.54pm on Thursday when it happened.
While refilling the cash machine outside, they were threatened by two men, one was armed with a sledgehammer.
After stealing the cash, the men drove towards Maidenhead in two vehicles, one of which is a silver or grey Ford Focus.
The glass shop front of Nationwide was smashed but the guards were not injured.
