Portsmouth FC feast in Bray ahead of FA cup

3:15pm Fri 16th May 08:: written by Glenn Mitchell

Final preparations for FA Cup finalists Portsmouth saw the players enjoying a slap-up meal in Bray last night.

The Premiership team, who go head-to-head with Cardiff at Wembley tomorrow, spent the evening at Caldesi in Campagna, based in Old Mill Lane.

The south coast outfit, which includes England international David James, were reported to be staying at the Oakley Court Hotel near Maidenhead.

However, a hotel spokesman denied the playing staff were guests.

The luxury venue has proved a popular pre-final base in the past.

Last year's finalists Manchester United, headed by Sir Alex Ferguson, booked themselves in for the days building up to the game.

Millions of people across the globe tune in to watch the final every year.
