Can you help find author's missing picture?

12:15pm Fri 9th May 08:: written by Daniel Darlington

An author is appealing for help from Marlow residents who may hold the key to the last piece of his novel jigsaw.

Pensioner David Nelms, is penning an account of his childhood and the playful larks he enjoyed as a boy growing up in wartime Buckinghamshire in a novel which will captuer the innocence of childhood during the Second World War.

The book Sherbert and Tizer recalls life between 1933 to 1951, and the frustrated pensioner is searching for one last photograph to complete his set.

The photo he longs to get his hands on is of Marlow's old cinema, The Odeon, where he spent many a happy afternoon as a lad watching matinees with his friends. He remembers it as an Odeon from 1940 to 1949, then it changed to The Regal. The imposing building is now a dental practice.

If you can help, call Mr Nelms on 0118 9783366.
