Man charged with attempted murder

A man charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Slough is due in court today.

Ashley Burnel, 19, of Layburn Crescent, Colnbrook, was charged by detectives last night and is due to appear at Slough Magistrates Court.

It follows an incident in Mildenhall Road, Manor Park, Slough, during the early hours of Saturday. 
A 21-year-old man was discovered with multiple stab wounds.

The victim remains in a stable condition at Wexham Park Hospital.
