Businessman Prior's family joins the 'rich list'

Maidenhead businessman Peter Prior and his family are a new entry in the Sunday Times Rich List.

Making a handsome profit from other people's waste, the Maidenhead man, who is director of Summerleaze Ltd, ranked 1034th with an estimated wealth of £77m.

Mr Prior, 64, runs the family-owned business which was set up by his father. He has been a passionate supporter of Maidenhead's embryonic waterways project to reinstate a navigable waterway through the town.
