Five rounds for teen golfer

9:05am Thu 17th Apr 08:: written by Alastair Beach

A single round of 18 holes is usually enough to satisfy even the keenest golfer.

After that it is time for a clubhouse drink and then back off home to rest those weary feet.

But not so for schoolboy Callum Alston - yesterday the youngster teed off at dawn and wasn't going to stop swinging until dusk.

The 17-year-old was taking part in a one-man sports marathon at Temple Golf Club in Hurley in a bid to raise money for a school trip to Zambia.

Watch our video interview with Callum during his challenge here.
