Two arrested after car crash

Witnesses to a car crash which left two people hospitalised are being asked to come forward by police.

A gold Vauxhall Astra and a red Vauxhall Corsa were involved in the smash at 6.30pm on Sunday in Lismore Park.

A passenger in the back of the Corsa had to be cut free from the car by firefighters and was taken to Wexham Parrk Hospital with internal and facial injuries.

A man in the Astra injured his arm and was also taken to hospital.

Two men in their twenties and fifties, were arrested on suspicion of excess alcohol, failing to stop, and dangerous driving. They have been bailed pending further inquiries.
