Organisers of Slough's 'walk of peace' hope for a good turnout on Saturday morning.
Delegations representing non-believers and a variety of faiths will join the three-mile walk starting at the Pakistan Welfare Association in Darvills Lane at 9.30am.
Slough Freemasons have promised to participate in the walk organised by retired Methodist minister John Newton, 70, along with atheists, Christians and Buddhists.
Another notable participant is Slough Grammar School headteacher Margaret Lenton.
The route takes in a Methodist Church in Ledgers Road, the Al Hira Education Centre in Ragstone Road, a Hindu Temple and Slough Town Hall, where Sikh mayor Joginder Bal will welcome the walkers.
Refreshments will be served at the Rangharia Gurdwara Sikh temple in Woodland Avenue around 12.15pm.
