Suspected car burglar arrested after police raids

Police raided areas of Burnham and Dedworth on Tuesday and arrested  a man in connection with a burglary that morning.

The 21-year-old suspect from Windsor was arrested in the centre of Burnham and released on bail.

Officers arrived at both villages bearing warrants to track down criminals who had burgled a property in Wraysbury in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

A Porsche and Volvo were stolen during the break-in. The Porsche was recovered in Hedsor Lane, Wooburn Green, about one hour after the burglary.

The black Volvo XC90 is still missing. It is a 4x4 estate car and when stolen the number plate read AO54 YCZ.

Det Sgt Tim Rose, the officer investigating the burglary, is keen to speak to anyone who may have information about the missing vehicle.
