Crowds are expected to gather on the banks of the Thames when Maidenhead Regatta returns to the town.
The popular event, organised by Maidenhead Rowing Club, has been staged at Dorney Lake for the past two years - but is coming home for the 2009.
Competitors will row on 500-metre stretch of the Thames from the Bray bend back to the Brunel Sounding Arch on Saturday, August 8.
Spectators will be able to watch budding Olympic hopefuls, successful veterans and keen novice rowers.
The regatta has been boosted with the addition of Pink Accounting as its main sponsor, together with VW Windrush Garage and Clean Services as supporting event sponsors.
Director of Pink Accounting and former Maidenhead and District Chamber of Commerce president, Peter Evans, said: "The Thames around Maidenhead Bridge is one of the most beautiful stretches of the river and there is some serious rowing on the day.
"We hope everyone in the town comes down to the river and gives the regatta the support it deserves."
