Another two schools have suspected cases of Swine Flu.

Parents of pupils at Slough Grammar School and Cox Green School in Maidenhead, have been advised of one suspected case at each school.

Margaret Lenton, headteacher at Slough Grammar School in Lascelles Road, said in a letter to parents: "I write to advise you that today we have been informed that one of our students is suspected of having Swine Flu. The student is currently off school on medication and is doing absolutely fine. The symptoms are reported to have been very mild."

Ian Hylan, headteacher at Cox Green School in Highfield Lane, said in a letter to parents: "All information available strongly indicates that there is no cause for alarm whatsoever."

Both schools remain open.

More than 5,300 people have now been confirmed with Swine Flu in the UK.
At a press conference yesterday, Dr Angela Snowling, acting director of public health at NHS Berkshire East, revealed that East Berkshire has been named as a 'hot spot' for the virus.
