VIDEO: Rewards for recycling scheme launched in Royal Borough

Britain's first recycling reward scheme has been launched in the Royal Borough in a bid to escape a multi-million pound bill for its landfill.

A three-month pilot scheme started on Monday with residents collecting points each time they put out their green waste bin.

Councillors and the national press gathered at Loosen Drive in Cox Green for the start of the trial.
