VIDEO AT SCENE: Plane down at White Waltham

A plane has flat-landed at White Waltham airfield in Maidenhead this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 1pm where a yellow plane is thought to have made a heavy landing.

A male pilot in his thirties has been airlifted to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with injuries.

Two fire engines, two police cars and an ambulance are currently at the airfield, based off Waltham Road.
