A man’s body has been found in the River Thames near Sonning Bridge.
Police have said it is believed to be that of Daniel, 39, who was reported missing last month.
The death has not been treated as suspicious and Daniel’s next of kin have been informed.
Reports of a body in the water were received by police at around 9:30am this morning and it was later recovered with support from Berkshire Fire and Rescue.
Chief Inspector Rob Platt, said: “Sadly we have today discovered the body of a man.
“From our enquiries we believe the man recovered from the water is missing person Daniel, aged 39, who went missing from the Caversham area of Reading in the early hours of Monday 4 March.
“Daniel's next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
“Our thoughts remain with them at this very difficult time."
“Our enquiries are ongoing but the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed to the coroner in due course.”
