Organic food hubs and renewable power on meeting agenda
Former Royal Borough councillor Rajiv Chelani spoke at the event

Organic food hubs and renewable power were discussed at an open meeting in Maidenhead on Wednesday.

Foodnation gave a presentation on the People's Digital Co-op, Maidenhead's first organic food hub, during the meeting at the High Street Methodist Church organised by Transition Maidenhead and MaidEnergy.

There was also an update on a Solar PV community share scheme being developed by the energy co-op MaidEnergy and an overview of the Warm Futures Project, which promotes renewable heating installations across the Royal Borough.

One of the event speakers was former Royal Borough councillor Rajiv Chelani.
