Man, 25, jailed for handling stolen goods

A 25-year-old man has been put behind bars for handling goods stolen from homes in Burnham and Taplow.

Connor Argyle, of York Court in Maidenhead, was jailed for 13 months at Reading Crown Court on Friday after admitting to handling stolen goods.

He was arrested after police raided a house linked to him in Powney Road, Maidenhead, in November 2011.

A number of items stolen from houses in Burnham and another in Marsh Lane, Taplow, were found at the property including eight wrist watches, an ornamental clock and a video camera which still contained footage from the victim's holiday.
