Boulters Lock murder investigation: Police informing next of kin
A murder investigation continues as police inform victim's next of kin

Police are still investigating a murder in Maidenhead after a 'disturbance' at the Boulters Lock restaurant and bar complex on Wednesday night.

The victim, a male, has still not yet been named by police.

A police spokesman said today officers were trying to inform the man's next of kin before he was formally identified.

The man was visiting the venue near Maidenhead's riverside on Wednesday night where police were called at about 11pm. The force said they were called to reports of a 'disturbance.'

Emergency services arrived at the scene and the man was taken in an ambulance to Wexham Park Hospital in Slough. He died there about  seven hours later.

A post-mortem examination on Friday was inconclusive.

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of murder but have been released on bail.

Police are still appealing for any witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information is urged to phone 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
