The annual family fun day, held Desborough Park, has been organised by River Church which has its Sunday meetings at Desborough College, in Shoppenhangers Road.

The fun starts at 11am and includes a pamper tent, art exhibition, gladiator game, a slide, splash zone, live music and a barbecue.

Vets from Summerleaze Veterinary Hospital in Summerleaze Road are also coming to judge the dog show and give free advice to pet owners.

Ceri Davies, leader of River Church Maidenhead, said: "We don't want to just sit in church on Sundays, we want to be 'good news' in our community, getting out and doing things that make a practical difference in people's lives."

"This is a celebration of all the events and groups that we're involved in throughout the year.

"It's a great opportunity to bring families on the estate together for a relaxed and happy day, with plenty of activities and food."
