Slough Town have taken to the Southern League Premier Division like ducks to water and clinched their second win in a week to climb to third in the table on Saturday.
Dan Darlington was at the match and he gave his view of the action, including high praise for some of the finishing on display at Holloways Park.
He also caught up with Repels joint manager Neil Baker for his thoughts on the match.
Maidenhead have also enjoyed a good start one division up the league ladder and are sitting in fourth in the Conference South thanks to a 100 per cent record so far.
Graeme Copas considered a good run of form for The Magpies and rounded up the rest of the action – including a third straight defeat for Gary Meakin’s new Burnham side and the first phases of the FA Cup.
Finally, there’s a glance sideways to cricket as the team tried to make sense of a confusing relegation structure, as well as a mention for rugby as the new season fast approaches.
