A total of 70 householders are at risk of losing their home every day in the region, according to statistics from charity Shelter.
The new analysis, based on data recorded by the Ministry of Justice, found that in the past year more than 25,600 homes in the south-east faced potential repossession or eviction.
Shelter has also identified the hotspots where people are most likely to face losing their homes.
Slough and Gravesham topped the list.
Other towns in the top 10 include Medway and Milton Keynes.
The housing and homelessness charity says the crisis can be attributed to sky-high housing costs.
