UCAS offers advice ahead of A-level results day

It is A-level results day tomorrow and thousands of school pupils across the country are anxiously waiting to discover whether or not their university applications have been successful.

Application services provider UCAS has offered last-minute advice to anyone awaiting their grades.

Students can log into Track from 8am tomorrow to see if their uni place has been confirmed or if they are eligible for Clearing.

A list of courses with Clearing vacancies will be live from just after midnight tonight.

Last year 495,595 people secured a place at university or college through UCAS, with a record 57,100 being accepted through Clearing.

UCAS advisers will be available from 7.30am tomorrow to answer questions on 0371 4680468.
