Council leader David Burbage has announced changes to the Royal Borough's cabinet.
Cllr Derek Wilson will take on the role of cabinet member for planning, replacing Cllr MJ Saunders, and Cllr Burbage will adopt the overarching role as cabinet member for Maidenhead, as well as corporate transformation.
The chairman of Maidenhead Town Forum, Cllr Philip Love, will become principal member for Maidenhead regeneration to promote the on-going work to improve the town centre.
Cllr Love will not be a formal member of the cabinet executive, as membership is limited to 10, and will receive no salary increase.
Cllr Burbage said: "This refresh to the Royal Borough's cabinet adds in a great deal of knowledge and experience to the team.
"We have a huge amount of work to do on the emerging Borough Local Plan, and on moving forward Maidenhead's Area Action Plan.
"These things take time to bring to fruition, and we are all dedicated to making a success of both significant pieces of work."
