A day trip on the River Thames has been enjoyed by a party of elderly passengers.
Nearly 70 pensioners from the Royal Borough, including a 102-year-old, were treated to sandwiches and entertainment organised and paid for by the Rotary Club of Maidenhead.
The captain told the passengers stories about the river as they cruised from Maidenhead Rowing Club in River road, Taplow, towards Marlow and back again.
Residents were said to have 'thoroughly enjoyed' the annual river trip which took place on Wednesday, July 16.
President of the rotary club Frank Knowles also joined the group.
The retired firefighter said: "Events like this one are important to all of us because we are very much a community organisation.
"We want to give back to all of the people who have contributed to the success of the community."
