A craft shop has been named as the town's Independent of the Year in a national competition championing independently-owned firms.
Craft Coop in the Nicholsons Centre won the local stage of the competition and now goes head-to-head with other winners from across the UK for the national finals.
A total of 13 Independent businesses in Maidenhead took part in the campaign, with 2,598 votes being cast and Facebook post reaches of more than 31,000.
“We have a lot to be proud of in our town and it would be fantastic to be named ‘top of the shops’ across the whole country,” said Craft Coop director Deborah Jones.
Products from more than 150 craftspeople from the area are sold in the shop.
