Maidenhead men charged with public order offences

Police have charged two men from Maidenhead with public order offences.

Danny Stace, aged 32 and 26-year-old Nigel Newbury were both charged in connection with events that took place in Boyn Hill, Maidenhead Tuesday, July 1 in which a 22-year-old man was chased and threatened.

Stace, from King Street, Maidenhead was charged with one count of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and one count of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence.

He was also charged with one count of possession with intent to supply cannabis.

Nigel Newbury from Heywood Gardens in Maidenhead, was charged with one count of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and one count of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence.

Both men appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on 2 July and was remanded in custody.

The men are due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on 21 July.
